FAQ

Everything we get asked. If your question isn’t here, email hello@toterentalsofleessummit.com.

How much does it cost to rent moving totes?

We have three flat packages: $99 for 20 totes, $169 for 40 totes (the most popular for a 2–3 bedroom move), and $219 for 60 totes. Every rental includes free delivery, free pickup, and tote dollies. No hidden fees.

Two full weeks come standard with every package. If you need more time, we offer weekly extensions starting at $40 (for the 20-tote package), $60 (40 totes), or $80 (60 totes). Just message us before pickup day.

We deliver clean totes (and a dolly) to your door at the start of your rental – free anywhere in our Lee’s Summit-area service zone. When you’re done unpacking, you book a pickup and we come haul the empties away. You never have to drop anything off.

Yes. Every tote is sanitized between rentals. No dust, no leftover packing material, no surprises when you open one up.

Stuff happens. Replacement pricing is honest and straightforward: $10 per tote, $40 per dolly, $150 per hand truck. We’ll never spring a surprise fee on you.

You pay for your rental when you book, through Stripe’s secure checkout. You won’t be charged anything extra unless we have to replace damaged gear or your rental runs long.

For a 2–3 bedroom move, buying 40 totes and dollies costs around $450, and then you store them forever. Renting from us is $169 for two full weeks and we take everything back. If you move often (every 12 months or less), buying might make sense – we’ll tell you straight.

We serve Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs, Grain Valley, Oak Grove, Raytown, Raymore, Belton, and Pleasant Hill for free. Outside that footprint, we can usually still deliver for a small per-mile fee – just ask.

Yes – totes are waterproof and crush-proof, so rain or cold is no problem. We only pause deliveries when conditions become unsafe, like ice storms, lightning, or tornadoes. Safety matters to us just as much as it matters to you.

Wherever you tell us. Most folks have us drop them on the porch, in the garage, or alongside the driveway. We’ll text you photos when we drop off and again when we pick up.
